In this project we took dreary unfinished area of the basement and turned it into a wonderful place to work out.
We installed new flooring that was friendly to work out equipment and easy to clean. Opened up the stairwell for improved air flow, framed out the exterior walls and installed drywall. We painted the area a nice restful paint color. The client wanted to have a suspended ceiling to make any future repairs to plumbing and ductwork easier.
The renovated space allows for the former storage area to be concealed and is much more enjoyable for exercising or to just hang out in. This area could easily be converted to a media room with the simple layout of the room allowing for changes as the family grows.
