This was a kitchen remodel in a small narrow room with no adjacent area to expand the space into. So, we took the existing foot print replaced the cabinets and counter tops. Keeping the new cabinets white like the old ones helped keep the space from becoming dark or cramped feeling. We added a custom tile back splash and new floor tiles to further brighten and modernize the space. In order to add much needed storage in this small space we went up with 42” upper cabinets in place of the old 36” cabinets. The new look is sleek and modern with the added advantage of more storage to keep the countertops clutter free.
