This was a case of a dark tired old 50’s style kitchen with cramped space and a poor layout. By bumping out the back wall 3 feet we added much needed space to improve the floor plan with an added bonus of windows to brighten the space. Removing the wall that separated the kitchen and the dining room opened up the space and made it more inviting.
By removing the old outdated cabinets and one wall we ended up with a bright welcoming kitchen. In addition to the new breakfast bar we installed contrasting cabinets for an area dedicated to entertaining and keeping the couples wine collection in one area.
